✔️Seats

For cars that have been modified with production cars, the seats need to be FIA 8862 certified. The support package on both sides of the seat, especially on the sides of the seat cushion, should be strong enough. The shoulder support package should be firm enough. The support package on the side of the backrest and the back of the head must be strong enough.

Other racing seats can be FIA certified seats or other sturdy one-piece seats. The standards are similar to those of FIA seats, with energy-absorbing cushions and low-friction fabrics. The body of the seat backrest should not be perpendicular to the floor, but the angle of inclination should not be greater than 30°. The upper part of the backrest behind the helmet should be perpendicular to the floor.

The package on both sides of the head should protrude as close to the helmet as possible, so as to better limit the movement of the helmet. Soft seat cushions need to be used with the seat body. Non-original or too much plug into the pad will affect the seat and seat belt protection effect.

The seat needs to be firmly fixed to the floor according to the instructions, and frequently check whether these fixings are still good. If the seat is damaged in an accident, both the seat and the seat belt need to be replaced.

Use FIA approved 5 or 6 point seat belts as much as possible and check the seat belts frequently for wear and tear, cuts and other problems.

The installation of the seat belt fixing points and the seat belt itself should be done by a professional to prevent the seat belt from being worn by the seat and other parts. Seat belts can only provide sufficient strength along their length, so do not allow them to cross or twist when in use.

The seat belt itself is designed to be stretched to cushion part of the impact. So use the seat belt to adjust as tight as possible, not to affect breathing can. The middle 2 crotch belt is placed at the pelvis, not on the abdomen.

After the shoulder belt is inserted, the middle lock ring and crotch belt should not be pulled up. If they are pulled up, the straps are too short. To adjust the buckle on the shoulder belt as low as possible to prevent damage to the neck. After inserting the seat belt buckle, you should check each belt once again.

Do not use used or unknown source seat belts. If you have experienced an accident, it's time to get a new set of seat belts.
